Terrific Kids Achievement Awards at Jessie Mae Monroe Elementary School
Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. “Terrific” is an acronym for THOUGHTFUL, ENTHUSIASTIC, RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, INCLUSIVE, FRIENDLY, INQUISITIVE and CAPABLE. This Kiwanis International character-building program was developed many years ago to recognize students for modifying their behavior, encouraging kids to become the best versions of themselves. Certificates and goodie bags are awarded for those students recognized as Terrific Kids.
