Guest Speaker – Mallory Wells
At our recent Club Membership Meeting on Wednesday August 19, our club had a guest speaker, Mallory Wells from Brunswick County Communities in Schools (CIS). Mallory shared with our club some of the programs and services that CIS provides in Brunswick County schools for students in need of intervention due to academic performance, truancy, behavioral concerns and other risk factors for dropping out of school. We encourage everyone to support this wonderful organization by supporting their CIS Thrift Stores and Fundraising Events or volunteering to assist with their programs.
